We aim to provide inspiring, thought-provoking and practical ideas that help people to live the lives they want to lead and be the people they want to be.
Monthly Assemblies are held on the third Sunday of every Month. Each month, January through November, we focus on a different theme. December is reserved for our Yule Rock, a secular celebration of the season!
Centered around each month’s theme, we sing popular songs, feature short lectures from guest speakers, share readings from related books, explore the science behind the theme, and host other activities to help build our community.
Community Circle meets twice monthly, on the first and fourth Sunday of each month. Community Circle is open to all, and gives participants a chance to discuss life issues and connect with others in a cozy, judgement-free, safe, and friendly environment.
The first Sunday of each month is reserved for Community Circle “Come as You Are!” This gathering has no agenda…bring your thoughts to share, vent, discuss, or tackle.
The fourth Sunday is a chance for participants to dig deeper into the monthly theme, and to share recent successes and challenges relating to it. Again, this all happens in a judgement-free, safe, and friendly environment.

Sunday Assembly After Dark events are purely social events designed for having fun and connecting socially with other SAPgh members.
Past After Dark events have involved game nights, beer tastings, and regular ol’ “hanging out.”
