Wondershop! August Edition: Making Bobbin Lace

In this Wondershop, you will learn from one of our elders how to make bobbin lace, one of the oldest- and easiest!- lacemaking techniques. Since bobbin lace is woven or plaited with two pairs of threads at a time, thread is not held around your fingers. Absolutely NO experience necessary, supplies will be provided, and you’ll get to take your lace work home with you!
This will be an in-person event in Swissvale. We will be distanced outdoors if the weather cooperates; if not, we will be inside and wear masks.
